Luxury Hotel Deal in Punta Gorda Belize

My parents were Peace Corps Volunteers and lived in Punta Gorda, Belize. Saw this note in the New York times today:

"Aventurers with a taste for luxury who visit Machaca Hill (www.machacahill.com), a newly renovated rain-forest canopy lodge in Punta Gorda, Belize, before March 1 will receive an all-inclusive rate of $290 a person a night (double occupancy) that includes lodging, meals and laundry, as well as activities like snorkeling, kayaking and visiting Mayan ruins.
