I was born in Belize and my Parents were Peace Corps Volunteers in the town of Punta Gorda in Southern Belize. I came across an couple good articles online today about Belize Hotel Deals for Adventure Travel on Guide To Travel.
"If a Belize Adventure vacation is in your schedule, then you will almost certainly go to the Toledo District in South Belize at some point, and if you are going to be anywhere near Punta Gorda, then you must ensure you book into the Hickatee Cottages for at least a couple of nights. This is more than a bed and breakfast inn because it also serves dinner, but it is a definite must do, and comes at USD60 per night double occupancy."

ReplyDeleteBelize is a wonderful location for an Island Vacation. It has such contrasts from the beaches to the jungle to the Mayan ruins, from the rivers to the Cayes. Any tour package to Belize must include all the sights. It seems a shame to hide away on a Caye, even if diving is your passion. Thanks a lot...
